Our Park Village residential aged care facility is currently undergoing a $5.5M redevelopment throughout 2018, seeking to refurbish and enhance resident rooms and communal areas, including new kitchenettes.
Due for completion in December 2018, the facility will include improved comfortable rooms for residents with the latest state of the art technology including wall mounted smart TVs, Wi-Fi access and a central communication system.
The redevelopment will also include new treatment areas, café and a hairdresser salon.
Since the work commenced in November 2017, eight resident rooms have been redeveloped and residents have been well accommodated in temporary rooms during the redevelopment phase.
Resident Rhonda described the temporary rooms as “like going on a holiday” while still enjoying all the usual comforts of the facility.
