Clayton Residential Aged Care Service is a modern complex, for 49 high care residents situated at 156 Main North Road, Prospect.

The facility offers 29 single and 10 double rooms, all with ensuite facilities and adjacent indoor garden atriums.

Opened in February 2000 the facility offers dining and activity areas, several smaller lounges, a private dining facility that can be booked for special occasions and a hairdressing service.

Although located on the busy Main North Road the facility has a quiet atmosphere with adequate off street parking for families and visitors.

Prospective residents can view the facility by contacting the Site Manager to arrange a suitable appointment date and time.

Admission to the facility is via completion of the admission package, along with a current Aged Care Assessment (ACAT) form that must be returned for inclusion on the waiting list.

A development project is currently being undertaken that will see an additional 12 rooms taking the total number of residents to 61. Completion of the project is scheduled for December 2008.
